- Duration 6h
- Activity level low
What you'll do
Our Shorexc guide will meet you at the Port of Tenerife where we board an air-conditioned coach to take a guided tour of the remarkable areas of Teide and La Orotava.
We start our excursion driving into the mountains and heading towards La Esperanza, and to the look out point Mirador de Ortuno (1.200 m altitude).
Entering into Las Cañadas National Park there are various other places where you can stop to take photos. The Mirador del Cumbre has a fantastic viewpoint of the mountains and the Orotava Valley.
The National Park, which has an area size of 130 sq metres, is an enormous crater surrounded by vertical rocks and from the centre rises Mount Teide, the highest point in Spain at over 3,700 m altitude. It is one of the most beautiful and extraordinary sights with its varied rock formations and flora and fauna.
We pass the Roques de Garcia and make our descent back through the valley and the Village of Aguamansa and finally stopping in one of the oldest towns of Tenerife, La Orotava which has some beautiful traditional canarian architecture.
We will then return to the Port of Tenerife so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
