What you'll do
Our Shorexc Excursions guide will meet you at the Port of Barcelona.
We start the day with a panoramic tour of the city. From Plaza de Colón, we go along the famous Parallel Avenue to arrive to the Plaza de España.
Then we go up to Montjuic and to the Olympic Park which hosted the Summer Games in 1992 and offers an excellent view of the city (short stop).
We drive to the seafront, through the quaint seaside district of Barceloneta straight to the Olympic Port. From there, through the expansion (Eixample), we arrive at the famous Sagrada Familia cathedral where we stop to admire the architecture and symbolism of the facades.
Then we go along the Paseo de Gracia, the most luxurious avenue which has some of its most remarkable and most famous buildings like Casa Batllo and La Pedrera.
We end up our visit at the Plaza de la Cathedral with a walk in the famous Gothic Quarter.
We will then return to the Port of Barcelona so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
