What you'll do
Our Shore2Shore Excursions guide will meet you at the Port of Lisbon where we board an air conditioned coach to take a guided tour of Lisbon and Estoril.
First we enjoy some of the famous sites of Lisbon before heading to the picturesque coastline of Estoril.
We begin our journey along the River Tagus to downtown Lisbon, the old district of Baixa, with its narrow streets.
Along the route you will get to know the main points of interest including the lovely Boulevard Avenida da Liberdad, surrounded by gardens and walkways uniquely decorated in black and white cobblestones.
There is a brief stop at the King Edward VII Park, where you can enjoy beautiful views of Lisbon and the distant hills.
Then we continue to Estoril where there is free time to enjoy the town whether it be to relax at the beach area, a local café, or spend some time in the gardens of Europes largest Casino which is situated right at the top of Central Park.
Returning to Lisbon we can see the famous tower of Belem and the gothic Jeronimos Monastery.
We also take a photo stop at the Monument to the Discoveries, a tribute to the Portugese explorers and adventurers. From here you can also see the suspension bridge and the statue of Christ on the other side of the river.
We will then return to the Port of Lisbon so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
