What you'll do
Our guide will meet you at the port of Tromsø.
Discover the Norwegian city of Tromsø, located on the small island of Tromsøya, 220 miles north of the Arctic Circle, one of the best places on the planet to see the Northern Lights. Tromsø is also known for being a center for art, history, gastronomy, as well as for its lively nightlife and immense forests.
We start with a panoramic tour of the city to enjoy spectacular views of the snowy landscape. Our first stop will be at the Arctic Cathedral (exterior visit). The Tromsdalen Church or the Arctic Cathedral as it is commonly known, is a parish church, built of concrete and steel in 1965. Many people in Tromsø call it "the Norwegian opera house" because of its image and its situation, since it looks like the Sydney Opera House in Australia. The Arctic Cathedral is one of the most visited monuments of Tromsø due to its beauty and the peace that emanates from its facilities.
Continuation to the Polaria Center, a fascinating center where we can experience a polar walk, see an interesting presentation on life in the Arctic or approach the aquariums to observe the marine life of the polar areas.
Return to the port of Tromsø.
