What you'll do
Our guide will meet you at the port of Bergen with a Shorexc sign.
Bergen is a city to fall in love with. Beauty of its streets and neighborhoods, built in wood, has made Bergen a world-renowned city.
Founded in 1070, it stands out as the capital in the 12th and 13th centuries when the kingdom of Norway was at its peak.
Our panoramic tour by bus will take us into the city and its periphery. Stopping at the main points of tourist interest to observe in this way the neighborhoods of Sandviken (18th century - characterized by the white wooden houses), the center of the city, the Nordnes peninsula (where aquarium and Fredriksborg fortress are located).
We will stop to walk through the Bryggen neighborhood, main tourist attraction of the city where the Hanseatic league was located. A walk will take us back in time to the semidarkness of those days.
We will also admire the wonderful views of the Bergen fjord from the famous customs dock, Tolldboden, where we will make a brief stop.
We will end our tour, giving the opportunity to get off the bus at the fish market, to those who wish and to walk freely around the city, before returning to the ship on their own.
