What you'll do
During this extensive bus tour, we will enjoy the well-known excursion to the most picturesque rural area in Holland. In our first stop, we will visit Zaanse Schans, a place where the typical Windmills are found and located on the banks of the Zaan River.
We will attend the manual elaboration of the famous clogs and a farm where they make artisan cheese with a tasting.
Our next stop is Volendam, a former fishing village. Its striking wooden houses, the labyrinth of its narrow streets and canals are one of their main tourist attractions. In its small port, you will be able to taste some of the local fish.
The last stop will be the island of Marken, due to its geographical isolation, it still retains its original atmosphere. Its wooden houses are built on structures that protect them from floods.
