Shore excursion from port of Bari, Italy
- Duration 4h
- Activity level low
What you'll do
Our guide will meet you at the port of Bari where we board an air-conditioned coach to take a guided tour of Cadiz.
Trani is a magnificent city whose origins predate the Romans. The town had an important commercial activity in the Middle Ages thanks to its port, one of the most important of Apulia.
The city has preserved its remarkable heritage, magnificent monuments dating from the Middle Ages. We will go to the Swabian Castle (13th century) which goes back to Frederick II. We will visit the Romanesque Cathedral, real jewel which houses the relics of Saint Nicholas "the Pelerin". Then we'll take a walk through the narrow streets of the old town.
Free time before returning to the port so you can rejoin your ship for onward passage to the next port of call.
