What you'll do
ITINERARY FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY:
We will leave the pier with the guide to enjoy a panoramic view of Palermo passing through Viale Libertá, Teatro Politeama, Teatro Massimo and Quattro Canti.
We will take the road that goes up to Monreale, located about 6.5 miles from the center of the city, to reach a small village on top of a hill, surrounded by the plain of the Conca d'Oro.
Visit of its famous Cathedral, a masterpiece of Arab-Norman architecture from the 12th century, which was built in 1174 by the Norman king William II.
Free time (10 mns) to admire the wonderful panoramic view of the Palermo Gulf.
Return to the center of Palermo to visit the Cathedral and stop near the Teatro Massimo before returning to the port for boarding.

We will leave the pier with the guide to enjoy a panoramic view of Palermo passing through Viale Libertá, Teatro Politeama, Teatro Massimo, Quattro Canti, Piazza Marina and Foro Italico.
Considered in its day as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, located in the center of the gulf that bears his name, the history of Palermo has its roots in the beginning of the Mediterranean civilization, since it has been governed by Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs and Normans. Each town left its mark on its famous monuments.
The visit will begin with the beautiful Piazza Quattro Canti and we will follow the walking tour starting with the Pretoria Fountain, the Martorana Church (outside due to the liturgical celebration), San Cataldo Church (outside due to the liturgical celebration) and Piazza Bellini.
We will continue our tour on foot with the visit to the Palermo Cathedral (exterior) and the Palatine Chapel located inside the Royal Palace.
We will get on the bus passing through Piazza Verdi and Teatro Massimo.
We will have free time before returning to the port for boarding.
