What you'll do
Our Shorexc guide will meet you at the Port of Ravenna where we board an air-conditioned coach to take a guided tour of Ravenna.
After our transfer to Ravenna our tour will continue by foot to discover the center.
Ravenna is the capital city of the Province of Ravenna in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.
We will discover the historic center including the Basilica of San Vitale with its famous mosaics representing the Byzantine Emperor Justinian and his wife Theodora.
We continue with our pleasant walk through the pedestrian mall, visiting the tomb of Dante, the Church of San Francesco with its submerged in the crypt mosaics and the beautiful Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo and the Palatine Church of Theodoric, king of the Ostrogoths.
We will then return to the Port of Ravenna so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
