What you'll do
Get to know the Italian Riviera through this guided walk through the famous fishing village of Portofino.
At the arrival of your cruise at the port of Portofino, our guide will be waiting for you, identified with a sign.
Portofino is located south of the beautiful city of Genoa and its stamp of colored houses are very characteristic of this picturesque fishing village.
Luxury boutiques and seafood restaurants surround the Piazzeta, a meeting place for some of the city's wealthiest people. It is a cobbled square, overlooking the bay where super-luxury mega yachts are docked.
A path takes us from Piazzetta to Castello Brown, a 16th century fortress containing walls decorated with bas-reliefs, slate or marble, in the middle of a fabulous garden and an art museum with panoramic views of the town and the Ligurian Sea.
On this visit to Portofino for cruise passengers, we will have free time to walk through the pedestrian alleys where you will find numerous craft workshops including where the classic and elegant bobbin lace is made and we will also enjoy a walk among the most exclusive brand stores you can find around the bay near the luxury yachts.
