What you'll do

Our visit to the island of Mykonos will begin through the typical landscape of the Cyclades Islands.

Mykonos is the island of winds and stones with many white chapels, traditional dovecots scattered throughout almost all the villages that characterize everyday life of Mykonos.

Passing through the region of Ornos, considered as the most touristic region of Mykonos, we will reach St John beach (western part of the island) where we will make the first stop to take some pictures of Delos. The island, right in front of the beach, is the sacred island of the god Apollo and houses its sanctuary, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece.

Crossing the central part of the island, we will reach the Kalafatis beach, one of the eighty dream beaches that surround the island.

In the cafeteria next to the sea and in front of the Aphrodite goddess Tits, that is, the hills of land that dominate the landscape, we will make the second stop to take pictures of the beach, waves and surfers.

Before reaching Chora, we will visit the village of Ano Mera, where the Panagia Tourliani monastery is located. The monastery of Tourliani, National Cultural monument of the Greek state and axis of legends related to the history of Mykonos in addition, is a typical example of the ecclesiastical architecture of the Greek islands. It houses the miraculous icon of the Virgin Tourliani, work of Evangelista Lucas; The Virgin of Tourliani is considered the patron saint of Mykonos. Within the sacred precinct of the monastery there is a small ecclesiastical museum, where valuable works, Byzantine icons, embroideries, ornaments, as well as the bells that come from the first monastery are exhibited.

Our tour in Mykonos will end with the visit of the Chora of Mykonos, capital of the island, one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities of all the Greek islands. We will have the opportunity to visit the neighborhoods and the most attractive corners, such as the little Venice of Mykonos, built on the sea and full of coffee and souvenir shops, Windmills, modern symbol of Mykonos, the A coastal part of the city along the shore called Gialos, the Panagia Paraportiani church, the most photographed Orthodox church in all of Greece and above all a panoramic view of the city passing through the numerous streets of its center, all paved and adorned with flowers and great colors.
