What you'll do
Our guide will wait for you at the Port of Heraklion with the sign of Shorexc.
This visit will take us 4000 years back, in the times of the oldest dating civilization in Europe.
The Minoan palace of Knossos, centre of the Minoan civilization, will help us discover the fine architectural techniques of that era.
Then our bus will bring us to the centre of the city of Heraklion, capital and business centre of Crete, a picturesque and lively city.
We continue with a tour in the streets of the city and the Venetian port, where we can see the Byzantine church of St. Titus, the Lions Square and the Morosini fountain.
At Heraklion, you could also enjoy a guided tour to the Archeological museum in order to discover the Minoan culture or spend free time walking around the city.
Return at the Port of Heraklion for the departure.

- ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM: € 12.00 NORMAL RATE. (approx. 14.50USD)

- CLOSING DAYS OF THE PALACE OF KNOSSOS AND HERAKLION: January 1, March 25, May 1, Easter (Sunday of Holy Week), December 25 and 26.

- Access to Knossos is not recommended for people traveling with wheelchairs or baby carriages, due to irregular terrain.
- The access to the museum is perfectly compatible, for wheelchairs and also for baby carriages.
