Exotic Milos and Museum

Upon arrival of your cruise, the guide will be waiting for you at the port of Milos, identified with the a sign.

We will start our visit to Milos with a bus tour around the island.

Milos is one of the most exotic Greek islands, it will shatter any preconceived ideas you have of it. Only a few islands can gather so many wonders in so little space. Milos belongs to the Cyclades archipelago. Interesting geological phenomena are displayed on its coasts and there are multiple archaeological remains from the Minoan, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine stages. Venus de Milo (Louvre museum, France) was discovered on this Greek island back in 1820.

Due to its volcanic origin, it is blessed with numerous hot springs known for their healing properties since ancient times.

Famous for its exquisite natural beauty, it is often called "the Island of Colors" as it offers a wealth of amazing landscapes, protected caves and an immeasurable amount of beaches that will make you love this island.

Sarakiniko Beach is the best known and widely photographed, we will explore it throughout our journey.

We will continue our tour with a visit to the Mining Museum, whose objective is to honor the mineral history and geological heritage of the island, it is clearly one of the most fascinating aspects of this excursion.

Finally, we will visit Plaka, the picturesque capital city of the island, an elegant Cycladic town with its vibrantly painted houses and packed with small traditional shops and restaurants waiting to be explored.

At the top of the hill is the 13th century Venetian castle, from where you can enjoy the magical views of the bay of Milos.

At the end of this magical tour, we will return to port to say goodbye to the Island of Colors.
