What you'll do
Our guide will welcome us upon arrival.
Our tour begins with an exciting trip to the city of Corfu, where we can enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town, included in the World Heritage List as a fortified Mediterranean city of high integrity and authenticity.
Visit of the famous Esplanade, one of the largest squares in Europe and the elegant Liston which, in the past, could only be accessed by the aristocracy of Corfu.
We will discover the most interesting places, such as the St Spiridon Church and the narrow streets, with the charm of the Old Venetian City. Free time to enjoy the city.
We will continue our tour through the picturesque village of Gastouri to visit the impressive Achilleion Palace.
The quiet island of Corfu, known to Greeks as Kerkira, was the place where Elizabeth of Austria (Sissi) used to take refuge, far from the obligations of the Habsburg court. The Empress, lover of loneliness, spent much time on this island, admiring its beautiful landscapes. She ordered the construction of the Achilleion palace, which, after her death, was acquired by Kaiser William II, also in love with the beauty of Corfu.
Accompanied by our local guide, we enter the fascinating fairytale world of Achilleion, the home of the empress dedicated to her favorite hero, Achilles. This sumptuously decorated palace is surrounded by magnificent gardens that stretch out towards the sea.
Our tour will continue with a wonderful tour to Paleokastritsa, also known as the "Capri of Corfú", a natural harbor with a sandy beach protected by a rocky cliff. Here we can visit the Paleokastritsa Monastery, founded in 1226 and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere created by shadow arches and beautiful gardens.
We will enjoy free time to admire the beautiful square of Paleokastritsa. The tour will continue along the ridge of the mountain with panoramic views of the Mathraki, Othoni and Erikoussa islands, the most northeastern part of Greece towards the village of Troumbetta.
We will go down by the mountain and will take the inner way that crosses a beautiful field.
Return to the port.

Reviews
We had a private tour with where we visited many parts of Corfu. We went to Achillion Palace and Paleokastritsa which was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this as a way to see Corfu as an excursion from the cruise ships.
