What you'll do

Our driver will meet you at the Port of Warnemunde or Wismar where we board an air-conditioned coach to take you to Berlin.

You will meet your guide in the city of Berlin, so the transfer from Warnemünde to Berlin is without a guide.

Our tour will take us to Charlottenburg Kurfürstendamm and the famous avenues and Unter den Linden. We will remember the German political history watching the flags waving in the Reichstag, the German parliament. We'll be able to cross the Wall, which divided Berlin completely only 20 years ago. Although it was possible for Westerners to pass from one to the other (but only through strictly controlled checkpoints), for most Easterners travel to West Berlin or West Germany was no longer possible.

We will have a quick review of every era Berlin had been through; The Prussian grandeur, the horror of National Socialism, World War II, the communist era and Berlin divided by the wall.

But our focus will not be only political, we will also discover all that Berlin has to offer today; its multicultural neighborhoods, its legendary nightlife, colorful bars and urban legends.

Our panoramic tour will give us a broad overview of the three great periods of Berlin's history, along with the most current and modern Berlin including the most interesting places like: City Hall - Alexanderplatz - Karl-Marx-Allee - Wall (East Side Gallery) - Nikolai - Museum Island - Unter den Linden - Bebelplatz - Catholic Cathedral St. - Hedwig - Gendarmenmarkt Square - Friedrichstrase - Checkpoint Charlie - Air Force - Nazis - Hitler's Bunker - Holocaust Memorial - Potsdamer Platz - Brandenburg Gate - Pariser Platz - Reichstag - Tiergarten - victory Column or Sigessaule - Near Embassies - Potsdamer Platz - Filarmonica - Kurfürstendamm Avenue - KaDeWe - Memorial Church bombed in the war - Zoo - Charlottenburg Palace - Bellevue Palace - House of World cultures - the Government District - Chancery and the Central train Station.

Free time in the shopping area of Berlin, the Jewish Quarter, will be included in the tour.

After leaving our guide in Berlin, we will then return to the Port of Warnemunde so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
