What you'll do
We will meet our Shorexc Excursions guide at the Port of Ajaccio and then board an air-conditioned coach to take a guided tour.
We will start our tour with a panoramic tour (by bus) across the city and the most important places like General de Gaulle square, Austerlitz square, and along the cornice of the "Iles Sanguinaires" (Bloody Islands) to the Pointe of Parata which offers a magnificent view of the Iles Sanguinaires and the Genovese Tower.
The Austerlitz square and the "cave" (Napoleons' shelter as a child) with a memorial statue are one of the main point of interest of our ciy tour. We will also see the cementery with the grave of Tino Rossi, a famous French singer.
Arriving at the Pointe of Parata, we will leave the bus for a walk with the guide (about 20 minutes) and enjoy a free time of about 30 minutes to take pictures of the beautiful surroundings.
Returning back to the city we will pass along the monument of the Holy Land, the house of Tino Rossi and the Cathedral.
Our next stop will take us for another walk across the Charles de Gaulle Square with the statue of the Emperor and his 4 siblings, the house where Napoleon Bonaparte was born and will end at the Plaza Foch, where the market is.
From there we may return back to the cruise ship or enjoy some more free time as the Plaza Foch is located just opposite the port.

- Comfortable shoes required.
- Keep in mind that the walk to Punta de la Parata may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties, wheelchairs or baby carriages.
- People with reduced mobility, who use wheelchairs must be accompanied by other people who can help them, shore2shore staff and the driver, because of legal imperative, cannot assist these people because they do not have the necessary qualification. Please use folding wheelchairs, since buses do not have elevators or ramps.
Meeting point
Once you have arrived at the port please go towards the maritime station. Our guide will meet you with the sign of the agency close to the ship.
