What you'll do

Our guide will meet you at the port of Helsinki.

A guided walking tour of the city of Helsinki will take us to the historical center to discover the masterpieces of modern Helsinki architecture:

Sibelius Park: Visit of the monument to Sibelius, famous Finnish composer of symphonic music of the last century.

Olympic Stadium: built to host the 1952 Olympic Games.

We will pass by the main street of the city, Mannerheimintie, where are some of the most important buildings, such as the Opera, the National Museum and the Kiasma Museum of Modern Art.

Railway station: this building is distinguished by its architectural design.

Esplanade: elegant boulevard lined with luxury shops and a beautiful park in the center. This park is a very popular area where concerts and many entertainers are held.

At the end of the avenue is the market place and the port: This area is very lively and dominated by the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, whose main features are the thirteen domes and the red brick structure.

Visit to the Senate Square.

Exterior visit of the Lutheran Cathedral: spectacular building, surmounted by a large green dome, symbol of the city. At the end of the visit, we will go to the old open-air market where you can buy typical Finnish food.

Departure to Porvoo, the second oldest city in the country that we will reach after about one hour. You will enjoy incredible views and take pictures of the old wooden town. You will have a walk with our guide and time available to discover craft and antique shops.

Return to the port of Helsinki.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: The Uspenski Cathedral is closed on Mondays and can only be seen outside. Your interior visit will be replaced by the famous House of Music.

  • People with reduced mobility, who use a wheelchair must be accompanied by another person who can help them. Please use folding wheelchairs, since buses do not have elevators or ramps.
