About this tour

Welcome aboard the Big Bus sightseeing tour of London. Your open-topped double-decker bus will take you around London’s most famous attractions as you learn about the 2,000 years of history of this fascinating city.

You can hop on and hop off as many times as you want at more than 45 stops at the main attractions, you will have plenty of time to explore all the sights of London. You can pick either the discover, essential or explore ticket. As you can imagine there is an awful lot to see in this fascinatingly lively city! So, if you have more time you can take the time to hop-off and get to know each spot a little better rather than just cruising on past. Each ticket gives you the chance to check out London at a different pace - on foot with a free walking tour which has the same duration as the ticket that you’ve purchased.

One of the most impressive sights on the Big Bus tour is the view of St. Paul’s Cathedral from Ludgate Hill. The following spots are also not to be missed: Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace - the Queen’s official residence in the capital is without doubt one of the highlights of the tour.

London Evening Tour

Our panoramic London Evening Tour showcases the city's famous landmarks and monuments as they're illuminated in the evening.

End or closing time
At approx. 6 pm in summer and 5 pm in winter for all-day routes.

Walking Tour
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes – 2 hours

Frequency: 3 tours daily (10am, 1pm, 4pm)

Changing of the Guard Walking Tour – 10am – Stop 7 (Trafalgar Square)
Experience one of London’s most famous traditions that is a must-see for first time visitors to London. Walk alongside the Guards as they march from St James’ Palace to Buckingham Palace. Please note, on days where there is no changing of the guard, the 10am walk will become a Royal Walk.

Jack the Ripper – 4pm – Stop 16 (Tower of London)
Join us on foot to experience tales of one of London’s most notorious serial killers – Jack the Ripper. Explore the East End of London and discover the chilling true story of one of London’s most famous unsolved crimes.

River Cruise
Take to the water with a Thames River cruise, operated by our partner City Cruises by Hornblower. Offering a fantastic opportunity to see London from a different perspective as you journey along the Thames. Travel under bridges and watch Tower Bridge come into view, the most majestic of London’s bridges. Enjoy recorded commentary picking out the best of the sights to see including Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Shakespeare’s Globe and Tate Modern.
