About this tour
A tour to the university town of Oxford (optional entrance to one of the University’s historic colleges).
Driving through the picturesque region of the Cotswolds and its tiny villages with houses with thatched roofs, we will stop in one of their villages; and we reach Stratford-upon-Avon.
Following a guided walk through this pretty town, there will be free time to explore and an optional visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace or his tomb in the Holy Trinity church (entrances not included).
At the end of the tour, we return to London.
Itinerary
Oxford
• Our guide will take us on a guided walk through the historical heart of Oxford and of its University, also where a number of movies have been filmed, included some Harry Potter scenes.
• We will also have the opportunity to enter one of the University’s oldest colleges (entrance not included).
Stratford-upon-Avon
• Guided walk through this pretty town, full of Tudor houses and free time to eat.
• Shakespeare’s Birthplace (entrance not included).
• William Shakespeare‘s tomb at the Holy Trinity Church (entrance not included).
The Cotswolds
• Drive through the rolling hills and some of the region’s prettiest villages.
• The most picturesque countryside in England.
