Our guide will meet you at the port of Stockholm with a Shore2Shore sign.
On this tour we can enjoy the most fascinating attractions of Stockholm. We will visit some of the fourteen islands on which this beautiful city is built. There will be a stop to take pictures in Fjällgatan and contemplate the beautiful view of the Baltic Sea.
We will go to Stockholm City Hall, famous building for its architecture, murals and mosaics and for hosting THE BANQUET HALLS of the Nobel Prizes that are awarded every year on December 10th. We can enjoy the exterior visit of the City Hall, completed in 1923, one of the most characteristic buildings of its style in the city.
We will also visit the Royal Palace located in Gamla Stan, the old part of the city, a great legacy of the Italian Baroque and work place of the King. With six hundred and eight rooms, the Royal Palace is the largest in the world used by a monarch today, King Carl XVI Gustav.
During our tour of Skeppsbron, a wide avenue, we will admire the seventeenth century buildings built by the wealthy merchants of the time.
On our way to the Island of Djurgården, we will see the elegant area of the city with its shops and large shopping centers.
The tour will be by coach, with stops for photos. Then there will be a short walk through the cradle of the city "the old town".
We will then return to the Port of Stockholm so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
We trust you had a wonderful day with us and we shall look forward to seeing you again soon.
