Our assistant will meet you at the port of Civitavecchia.

We will leave the port by coach to reach Rome with an approximate journey of one hour and a half, passing through the "Campina", north of Rome.


Arrival in Rome where you will meet the guide and start the day with a short panoramic tour to discover the city. During the tour, we can admire the famous Pyramid of Caius Cestius (Pyramid Cestia) from the 1st century BC. incorporated in successive centuries to the fortified wall of Emperor Aureliano; Circus Massimo known for chariot racing and the movie Ben Hur; Santa Maria in Cosmedin Church with its 'Boca De La Verdad'; Marcelo Theater finished under Otaviano Augusto and Piazza del Capitolio, transformed by the genius of Michelangelo into the first modern square in Rome and now the City Hall.


Admire Piazza Venecia, urban center of the city that houses the majestic monument, known as Victoriano or Altar de la Patria, originally held to celebrate the nation's unification and then dedicated to the fallen in wars; we will contemplate the Traiano Emperor Column.

Finally, we will see the wonderful Via Dei Fori Imperiali and the remains of the glorious past of Rome, passing in front of the Colosseum (no stop).

Continuation to St Peter's Basilica, crossing the 'Rubio Tiber'. Once in the center of the Papal world, we will discover the charm of this place that is not only a Church but also art, culture and power. The most important artists of Renaissance and Baroque periods contributed to the realization of this unique work, the famous Pieta by Michelangelo.


Back to the bus to reach the area of Trevi Fountain, passing through Largo Argentina where Julio Cesar died assassinated in March of 44 A.C. A walk will make us discover the baroque heart of the city, starting with the Trevi Square and its famous fountain of desires.


We will continue towards Pantheon (exterior stop for photos), the best preserved of the ancient monuments of Rome and from there to Piazza Navona, the most imposing of the 15th century squares.


Return to the bus and to Civitavecchia after a day suspended in time between Empire and Papacy, Christians and pagans in the most "beautiful city in the world".
