Our guide will meet you at the port of Chania

The bus will drive us to Akrotiri where we will visit the Monastery of Agia Triada Tzagorolon (optional) in the peninsula of Akrotiri; built in the seventeenth century, it is one of the most impressive monasteries in Crete, nestled in the heart of a landscape that abounds with olive trees and cypresses. Continuation by visiting the Venizelos tombs (outside) from where we can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Chania. 


We will then return to Chania to visit the old city considered the most beautiful region of Crete. Formerly it was surrounded by ancient Venetian fortifications, but only the western and eastern parts survived. We will walk through the picturesque neighborhoods and discover hidden places that make Chania an ecliptic mix that gives a unique atmosphere. You will also learn more about the traditional way of life of this city by visiting the closed market, the Naval Museum (optional). 


Free time before returning to the port for the departure of the ship.
